Captain Evan Hileman

Billfish and deep-drop bottom fishing.

Evan "Poppa" Hileman was born and raised in New Orleans and grew up fishing Port Fourchon and Venice. Before his charter career he worked on Gulf oil rigs, which taught him where the fish live.

He is known for billfish and for deep dropping for grouper, tilefish and mangrove snapper. Guests who fish with Poppa leave with a smile.
