Which fishing trip should we choose?

Offshore trips range from nearer reef fishing to longer runs and overnight experiences. Inshore trips explore marshes, bays and coastal waters. Fly fishing offers a focused shallow-water experience. Compare the fishing style with your group's size, experience and comfort with time on the water before choosing.

What should we bring?

Packing is simple. Check with the crew if you have arranged a meal package or are bringing your own gear.

  • Food and water unless covered by an arranged package.
  • Sunscreen and a hat for time on the water.
  • A suitable cooler with space for taking fish home.
  • The fishing license required for your trip, checked before arrival.

Is fishing equipment included?

Yes. Every charter includes fishing gear and tackle, bait, fuel, ice and fish cleaning. Fly anglers can also discuss a casting refresher and whether to bring a personal rod and reel.

When and where do we meet?

Departure arrangements depend on the trip. Ask DTB to confirm the exact meeting location and time before you travel. Fly-fishing departures also consider tides and light. If staying at the lodge, coordinate arrival instructions separately from the boat's departure.

What about weather and changes?

Discuss conditions with DTB and your captain rather than treating a forecast as confirmation of departure or cancellation. Review the applicable booking terms for changes, deposits and cancellations before reserving; lodging and fishing may have different conditions. Ask the team to clarify anything uncertain.

How do payment and checkout work?

Before you book, confirm the total, deposit or full-payment schedule, accepted payment method and any applicable cancellation terms with DTB. The crew confirms these when your trip is booked.

Can we add a stay and meals?

Houseboat lodging and optional meals can be planned around your fishing. Confirm room arrangements, meal details and nights before or after the trip when you book.
