THE DTB CATCH COLLECTION
Yellowtail snapper
Caught beside one of the offshore rigs.
PLAN YOUR TIME ON THE WATER
A surprise at the rigs.
Yellowtail are better known as a Florida fish, so one from the rigs off Louisiana is a treat. Rig trips put you over the structure where snapper of all kinds hold.
Tell the crew which snapper you’re hoping for, and they’ll plan the day around the season and the regulations.
Catches depend on season, conditions and current regulations. A photograph records a past catch, not a promise for your trip.
