Down the Bayou Charters offers a variety of trips to make our customers as happy and comfortable as possible. With our Coast Guard license, we can carry up to 6 passengers on our vessel. Grab 5 of your friends, pick the trip that best suits you, and bring lots of ice chest room!
There are no hidden fees with our prices.
Our charter rates cover bait, ice, tackle, fish cleaning, and fuel.
All we ask of our customers is that you bring your own food, water, sun protection, and buy a saltwater fishing license. Tips for our hard-working mates are appreciated. Our trip rates are listed below.
Offshore Fishing Trips
Half Day Trip ($1,800)
The half day is perfect for people who want to try out their sea legs!
Less hard core than an entire day out on the water, but the half day is still a good way to put fish in the box. During the half day, we stay within 50 miles of the dock which allows more time for fishing. Less running time, more fishing time!
When Do We Leave?
Either leave the dock at 6am and fish the morning or leave at noon and catch the afternoon.
We can adjust the time to fit your schedule!

Our most popular trip, perfect for any customer!
12 hours out on the water allows us to travel the distance and still have plenty of time to catch fish.
When Do We Leave?
We usually leave the dock around 6 am but we adjust according to how the fish are biting.

14 Hour Night Trip ($3,200)
Weekday Special
The 14 Hour Night Trip is perfect for the night owls!
14 hours out on the water without having to fight the sun, allows us to avoid the heat and the fish are usually hungrier at night. You get the sunset and the sunrise bite which is the best time to be out on the ocean!
When Do We Leave?
We usually leave the dock around 6 pm and return 8 am.

Overnight Trip ($4,400)
This trip is for the hard core fisherman.
Be prepared for some sore muscles and a lot of fish. 24 hours out in the Gulf of Mexico usually leads to a boat full of fish. Screaming reels, angry fish and no sleep are the products of these trips. Our overnight trips also allows us to target more species of fish. An entire day on the water with Captain Joey and Captain Austin delivers lots of fish and fun!
